What a journey this past 10 weeks has been. Over that period, several viruses have moved through our home, we celebrated Christmas and Thanksgiving, I went on two out of state work trips, lost an insurance battle for my wife's meds... I could go on...
For the purposes of this post, and the reason you are all here, the most crowning achievement of the last 10 weeks, is that I left an average of 2.3 pound of body weight behind me in each of those weeks. Oh, and my blood sugars which were climbing, have leveled out to non-diabetic numbers. All this thanks to the GLP-1 journey I was thrust into on November 8th, 2022.
When bariatric surgery was found to be out of the question for controlling my T2D and obesity, my Dr. introduced me to Mounjaro, tirzepatide. What would transpire over the following weeks has been a complete whirlwind. It is not only of what was lost (pounds), but what was gained (you all).
On Nov 9th, I uploaded my first Mounjaro video in the hopes off filling a gap of men chronicling and providing Mounjaro information on YouTube. In that time the channel (community) has grown from under 100 to over 1,200. Over the past two weeks, I have also launched Instagram and Facebook accounts, and today, this website.
My hope is that you will stop in for exclusive articles, a GLP-1 hot topic forum, and some of my latest and greatest Mounjaro journey "must haves". Thanks for joining me this far, and I cannot wait for what the future holds for all of us!
