Zepbound Self Pay Prices Drop Across All Doses Effective Today

Eli Lilly updated the Zepbound Self Pay Journey Program today and lowered the cash price on every dose. The biggest reduction came at the 5 mg strength, which dropped by $100 from $499 to $399. The 2.5 mg dose is now $299, and all higher doses from 7.5 mg through 15 mg have been standardized at $449.
Patients can access these reduced prices through any licensed prescriber, including telehealth platforms like our partners at Shed, or through your primary care physician. All pricing is fulfilled through LillyDirect and are now even available via your local Walmart pharmacy.
Ro CEO Z. Reitano responded to the changes, saying:
“As GLP-1 prices fall, Ro is ensuring that patients nationwide have access to these life-changing medications at the best available prices. This is an example of how direct-to-patient channels can both bring down the cost of high-quality care and remove middlemen, working directly with pharma manufacturers, so that more patients get transparent, lower prices for their medication.”
