How I Broke a 2 Year Mounjaro Stall

And hit my lowest weight in 7+ years

For nearly two years, I was stuck.

15mg of Mounjaro. Nearly 3 years into this journey. And still bouncing between 295 and 285. Nothing I did seemed to make a difference. If you’ve been there, you know the feeling. Watching everyone else melt away while you’re white-knuckling the same 5-10 pounds.

And then something happened that flipped the entire script.

📺 Watch the video here, it's the most personal, vulnerable update I’ve ever shared.

It Started With a Scare

Right before Memorial Day, I nearly passed out in a grocery store with my son. Ended up in the ER. Blood pressure through the roof. The early diagnosis: early stage heart failure.

I don’t even like typing that. But it’s what finally forced me to take a hard look at everything. Not just the medication, not just the weight, but my lifestyle. My stress. My habits. My heart.

And that’s when I chose to cut out alcohol. Not because I had a problem, but because I knew it wasn’t helping.

Six Weeks Later, the Stall Cracked Wide Open

At first, the weight barely moved. But then something shifted, and it shifted hard.

Appetite suppression came back. Side effects I’d never really had before showed up (hello sulfur burps). The scale started dropping fast. And for the first time since early 2023, I felt like the medication was finally working the way it was meant to.

📉 From 295 to 272 in a few months

📉 14 pounds gone in the last 4 weeks alone

📉 3.5 pounds per week and still dropping

Around the same time, I started using a smart scale from MyShapa. It doesn’t show your weight at all. It uses color feedback instead. Blue means rapid loss, teal means slow but steady, gray means holding.

For someone like me, who used to spiral every time the scale went up, this has been a game changer. It tracks real trends, smooths out water weight spikes, and keeps you from quitting over one bad day.

It allows you to zoom out and monitor patterns, not a number.

🎯 It’s free for the first few months

🎯 After that, it’s super affordable

🎯 And if you use code OTP30, you get 30% off at MyShapa.com

If you're a data geek like me, it even integrates with the LoseIt app so you can still see your trends over time, without daily stress.

What Might Be Holding You Back?

I’m not saying alcohol was the only issue. But for me, it was the biggest variable I never questioned.

So if you’ve stalled, if you’re stuck, if your 15 mg of Mounjaro or Zepbound feels like nothing more than an expensive placebo, maybe it’s time to look at the things you haven’t questioned yet.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. Thank you for praying me through what might have been the hardest season of my life.

I’m healing. I’m hopeful. And I’m finally losing weight again.

And if you're done letting your scale ruin your day, try the one that fixed mine: MyShapa.com, code OTP30.
