They Came for the Group. Now They’re Coming for Me.

A few days ago, Facebook nuked our community.

No warning. No explanation. Just gone.

Over 20,000 people. Deleted. We were one of the largest GLP-1 support groups in the country. We shared stories. Compared treatment options. Told the truth about obesity, about medication access, about what it means to be fighting this disease in a broken system.

That was enough to get us flagged.

We pushed back. Loudly. And they restored it. Briefly.

But tonight, it’s gone again.

And this time, they’re coming for me.

My personal Facebook account has been restricted. I’ve been blocked from live videos, from creating ads, from joining groups. Everything I use to communicate with the community we’ve built. My page is under threat. My Instagram could be next.

All because I helped create a place where people with obesity could talk. Where we could learn together. Cry together. Hope together.

That’s what they’re calling dangerous.

Let’s be clear about what this is. Targeted censorship. An already marginalized community, being silenced for sharing our lived experience. Now they’re threatening me with my personal page I have 20 years of memories on!

They may be trying to erase us.

But here’s the thing. You can’t deplatform a movement.

We’ve gotten too loud. We’ve helped too many people. And we’re not going anywhere.

We’re building something that no platform can delete. On The Pen is more than a group. It’s a rebellion. It’s a community that exists to protect each other, to educate, and to fight for access to the care we deserve.

And now, I need your help.

Subscribe. Go paid if you can. Share this.

Because if they can come for me, they can come for anyone.

They can delete a group.

They cannot delete our stories, they cannot delete a movement.
