Two Novembers ago, I started to plan something bigger. I built a movement to get Lilly to drop their prices an fix the shortages by releasing Zepbound in vials. #ReleaseTheVials was more than a hashtag, it was a cry from patients demanding access, respect, and truth.
Last November, I opened Fortune magazine and saw my own name in print right next to Eli Lilly’s CEO. The same company I had begged to listen with countless emails and hastags, was finally hearing us. (There was also Bloomberg, Yahoo, NPR, and Seeking Alpha.

This isn’t just my story anymore. It’s ours. Every voice, every struggle, every person who has ever felt unseen by a system that profits from our silence, this movement is for you. WE BUILT THIS.
If you’ve been following from the sidelines, now’s the time to step in. Paid subscribers don’t just get more content, they help keep independent patient journalism alive.
Together, we’re rewriting the story of obesity care, one truth at a time.
